Muldoon Transport Systems Ltd have been producing Hookmate trailers since 2008, earning a reputation for innovative drawbar trailer solutions in the recycling and construction sectors.

Following the strategic acquisition of Hookmate, the brand is now fully integrated into Muldoon Transport Systems Ltd. This consolidation combines decades of expertise, enhancing our service to waste management operators and municipal clients.

Our unified team is dedicated to delivering high-quality equipment and support, reinforcing Hookmate's position as the preferred choice for HOOK and SKIP trailers.

We are confident that our commitment to manufacturing excellence, innovative design, and customer satisfaction will drive continued growth and success.

Hook-loader Trailers

These range from the most popular 24 tonne tri-axle configuration (to suit 44 tonne operation) down through 18 tonne tandem axle to 12-14 tonne tandem axle. All have retractable draw-beams as standard fitment.

Many are designed to carry CHEM standard containers, but some are multi-width to accommodate converted cable-width containers with different roller types and characteristics, or even the smaller HL5 containers to suit the lighter range of trailers.

Skip Trailers

Again, there are weight options of 12-18 tonne tandem-axle to carry single skips, or 24 tonne tri-axle to carry twin or single skips and these are available with various sheeting options. All are fitted with lashing rails, rope hooks and adjustable/removable front skip stops. A retractable draw-beam is standard fitment on the twin-skip Hookmate but is an option on the rest of the range.

Sheeting Systems

A variety of options are available on all Hookmate hook trailers - primarily our own patented ‘End to End’ Sheeter model which allows for loading at either end of the trailer. Importantly, our sheeter is of DUAL-WIDTH operation and consequently complies fully with the new Type Approval Regulations on Width.

Alternatively, a more basic manual tower system can be fitted or you may prefer to use a sheeter supplied by your hooklift equipment supplier.
